About Ashley Farkas

Ashley Farkas is the M​arketing Manager here at dogIDs, but shares responsibilities in other areas of the business, such as social media, donations request management and much more. When Ashley isn’t working at dogIDs, she volunteers her time as a foster home for local rescue organizations, 4 Luv of Dog Rescue and Diamond in the Ruff​ Pet Rescue​. Ashley and her family have provided foster homes for 20 + amazing dogs. Ashley and her family also share their home with three “pawesome” dogs, Jake, Maci and Chloe. Jake was adopted from 4 Luv of Dog Rescue while Maci and Chloe started out as foster dogs and ended up as forever family members.

dogIDs Supports World VetsBack in February of 2014, dogIDs introduced our partnership with the international animal aid organization, World Vets. Today, dogIDs is excited to support the World Vet mission through their “Paw It Forward” program.

Charlie’s Story

Charlie's Story
At only 5 months old, Charlie had already had a rather rough start to life. The young Black Labrador Retriever mix was dropped off at the home of his owner’s friend. His family was scheduled to pick him up after one week and never came for him. Charlie lived for several weeks on a porch waiting for his family to return. After a month, the friend of the owner called the Sheriff’s office inquiring as to what they should do with Charlie. Because he was labeled an abandoned dog, they were told to go ahead and rehome him. [Read more…]
