QUESTION: is the id tag curved, slightly, to fit with the collar and neck? by jason t 1/3/2012
STAFF ANSWER: Yes, just last month we began contouring/bending all name plates before shipping out. This includes name plates installed on collars as well as our ScruffTag Collars. by Clint H 1/9/2012

QUESTION: Which of the collars work best with these? by None N 4/26/2011
STAFF ANSWER: These dog tags slide onto your dog collar without any additional hardware or tools needed to install or remove. The collar must have one strap available without a buckle or hardware that will interfere with the tag sliding on. Leather, braided, and poly coated nylon webbing work well with these slide-on tags.
The collars to avoid are collars with snap buckles. Chuck B- Staff by Chuck B 4/27/2011
QUESTION: How did these hold up when dogs are in water and woods? by None N 4/16/2011
ANSWER: my kids don't wear them very often so I can't answer. It appeared one had discoloring but when I inspected for you couldn't see it. One thing I found out is....collar size needs to be very close or else they flip sideways to push into neck. jill by jill P 4/20/2011
ANSWER: These work great for hunting dogs and active outdoor dogs. They have not slid off nor wore the name or information off. My dogs have 16 acres of woods and swamp to run through and a creek. I hose the dogs off and they are still as good as new, not so much for the dogs, they are tired and lie down for a long nap. LOL Great item. Thanks for having it available. PS- I have had the dangling kind before and as active as my labs are, they eventually get lost, that is why I wanted to try this type and so far they are far better for two very active dogs! by Christine T 4/20/2011
ANSWER: I have had this tag for several months on my 2 corgis. One of them swims in the pond almost daily the other doesn't go near the water, and this name plate still looks like new. by Patsy S 4/19/2011
ANSWER: We have had one for years for our large dog that fits around her collar instead of sliding on there are slits in the metal to put it on the collar. She is a trail runner and water dog - it's held up perfectly. That's why we bought a couple for our friends who have 2 small dogs. However, they cannot find a collar that the tags can slide onto. there are buckles on both ends of most collars - so it won't fit over the buckles. We gave them for Christmas and they still haven't used them. Any advice for some collars? by Jennifer V 4/19/2011
ANSWER: These hold up very well in water and woods. Our two brittany spaniels are outside dogs and we have a pool. I love the way they don't jingle like the old fashion kind. We will always buy these and I always recommend them with the plastic collar too - that never smells! by C A 4/19/2011
