This carabiner style Dog Tag Clip is perfect for those times when you want to change collars but don't want the hassle of moving the dog tags with split rings or s-hooks!

The Rubit (roo'-bit') Dog Tag Clip makes moving dog ID tags easy! When you change collars, you just un-clip the spring loaded gate clip from one dog collar and then clip it to the other collar or whatever you want to clip the dog ID tag to. It's that easy!

As you know, it's VERY important for dogs to wear their dog ID tags with your latest engraved contact information in case they get lost. Having Dog ID tags with up-to-date contact information is still the best way to ensure you and your dog will be reunited in the event your dog gets lost. QUESTION: How did you base what size you bought My dog has 2 tags, one is an ID and the second is her Rabies tag. I want it inconspicuous but not flimsy. by None N 12/5/2011

ANSWER: I purchased a small for my doberman and we keep 3 tags on it, I went with small because I did not want something big that would easily catch on things. One of his collars has a thick D-ring and the hook/clip just barely is able to squeeze on it. These tag clips are the nicest and sturdiest I have ever used, I had tried other that broke but these are still going strong over a year. by Alison W 12/7/2011

ANSWER: IMy dogs weigh 90 lbs, and I bought the medium sized clips for my big dogs' tags. Their leather collars are 1" wide, and the Clip-On holder holds their Home Again tag and rabies tag. I really like being able to clip these off so they don't jingle as much in the house! Easy to change collars with the seasons, too, if I were inclined to do so. by Jane B 12/6/2011

ANSWER: I have small dogs all of them around 25 lbs and they only wear two tags.
I love the rubit because it allows me the freedom to change their collar or harness whenever I want. I'm not tearing my fingers up trying to get tags on and off the ring of the collar or harness. ANSWER: We purchased the small and large because we have a large and small dog. They work great, sturdy, easy to put on and take off. I think the smaller ones would work on a larger dog and they wont be to conspicuous. They are well worth it. by Cheryl C 12/6/2011

ANSWER: It would depend on what size the collar/latch you are going to attach the Clip-on tag holder. The small clip-on is very small. This one would only work for most small or ex-small collars. if you are planning to take on and off often, you may want to get the medium size. by Nancy N 12/5/2011

ANSWER: Definitely get the small one! I got both but only use the small one on my dog who is 70lbs. He has 3 ID tags & is a total rough houser. The small one has kept up with active lifestyle quite well! Hope that helps! by Amy P 12/5/2011

COMMENT: I have three dogs, two are puppies and super active, especially at night! They go through collars like I go through underwear so it's a pain to always change all the tags. They have main ID, Rabies, + Extra info tags So I figured I would try this for an easy on and off when they are going inside/outside.
