ANSWER: I got the black reflective leashes and the reflectors really show at night. great for night walking or early morning. good product, very durable as well by perian d 10/9/2011

ANSWER: We did not buy it for the purpose of night use but I have noticed on the few occasions I used it at night that it is quite reflective. The reflective material is throughout the leash. On a scale of 1 to 10 I would give it a 6. Hope this helps. It is a thicker leash so it works best for larger dogs. It is a bit too thick to be effective for leash training our french bulldog. by John B 10/8/2011

ANSWER: It is very bright when lights shine on it, such as car headlights or a flashlight. It does not emit light by itself. It is purely reflective, and does a wonderful job. Gives great visibility to oncoming traffic. by Nora W 10/7/2011

ANSWER: I haven't actually used it in the dark but it has a good amount of the reflective material like that on running shoes so I think it would be pretty effective. by Lara W 10/7/2011
