John H:I don't think so. I didn't need to have an ID since my dogs have tracking chips in them. The reason I got these was one of my pomeranians took a stroll around my neighborhood by herself but luckily my next door neighbor found her. This ID was purchased if this happened again but the tracking chips are for if God forbid my pomeranians got out and further away from just the neighborhood.Sep 14, 2013
