We use the latest fiber laser technology to engrave our tags. Many pet tag manufacturers use lower power CO2 laser engravers that do not actually engrave the metal but rather mark or laser bond on the metal. This type of laser marking does leave a clean dark mark but will eventually be illegible as the metal from the tag wears down. We at dogIDs use a high power fiber laser to engrave our tags which actually vaporizes and removes the metal so it is actually engraving instead of marking or laser bonding. This allows us to engrave deeply into the metal with pristine detail and a nice contrasting engrave color...Excellent looks with a true engrave that will NEVER wear off of your dog's tag. Engraving guaranteed for life...PERIOD!Learn more about our free engraving
Method 1) Measure your dog's neck with a sewing tape while keeping two fingers between his skin and the tape.
Method 2) Wrap a string around your dogs neck with two fingers between his skin and the string. Mark the string and then measure the length of it.
Method 3) Remove your dog's current collar and stretch it out flat. Then measure from the center of the buckle to the current sizing hole being used.Learn more about measuring methods.

ScruffTag Nameplate is Built Right In!
The best part about the Camouflage ScruffTag Personalized Dog Collar is the built-in nameplate that sits right on the "scruff" of your dog's neck. We will engrave up to 4 lines of identification information with up to 15 characters per line. You don't have to worry about installing any tags, hearing tags jingle around the house, in the yard or in the field, or worry about any lost tags. Your dog's most crucial contact information will sit directly on the back of their neck for easy reading.
All engraving is done with a high power commercial laser, meaning the engraving is incredibly deep and easy to read. We guarantee the quality for the life of your pet.
What happens if you move, need to change the phone number on your tag, or heck, you rename your dog? Not a problem. Simply mail your collar to us and we'll update your tag for only $5.00 + shipping and handling.
*Not recommended for toy and small breed dogs. Hardware is too large and heavy for smaller dogs.
