Lois T asked:I am looking for a boot for warmth as well as traction. We walk/snow shoe in a hilly area. She will need traction like she uses her nails now. Would this work or is there a better boot? It's below 0 on most days.Mar 5, 2015
Kelli B:Lois, these boots work best for flat areas I think - they are made from a nylon canvas and a velcro strap around the ankle. They work great for keeping the ice out of her paw pads and protect the feet when it is so cold, but we don't have the experience of hilly areas.Mar 9, 2015
Chuck BStaff:Most Golden Retrievers would wear a large. I do know a 60 lb retriever does wear a medium. If over 90 lbs, they could even go up to an XL. The best thing still would be to Measure. Chuck B. StaffMay 14, 2013
