Lois T asked: I am looking for a boot for warmth as well as traction. We walk/snow shoe in a hilly area. She will need traction like she uses her nails now. Would this work or is there a better boot? It's below 0 on most days. Mar 5, 2015

Kelli B: Lois, these boots work best for flat areas I think - they are made from a nylon canvas and a velcro strap around the ankle. They work great for keeping the ice out of her paw pads and protect the feet when it is so cold, but we don't have the experience of hilly areas. Mar 9, 2015

A shopper asked: What size would you think would fit a golden retreiver? Mine isn't here to measure right now. May 13, 2013

Chuck BStaff: Most Golden Retrievers would wear a large. I do know a 60 lb retriever does wear a medium. If over 90 lbs, they could even go up to an XL. The best thing still would be to Measure. Chuck B. Staff May 14, 2013

I cannot think of any pros
These are just basically canvas bags, no rubber or anything on them to allow for the dogs paws to grip and no bend in the units to allow for them to properly fit the dogs paws.
