Custom Watercolor Pet Portraits
Capture your pet’s unique personality with a one-of-a-kind, hand painted custom watercolor portrait! Simply e-mail a forward-facing photo of your beloved furry companion to firstname.lastname@example.org, and the portrait will be brought to life in full watercolor.
Professional Grade Materials
When you order a portrait painting, you will receive a product that has been completed using only high quality materials. The paint used is professional grade watercolor, so the colors are vibrant and resist fading.
The paper used for these paintings is cold press watercolor paper. In the watercolor world, cold press paper is ideal because it is textured with tiny bumps and grooves to hold in the water and pigment. Hot press is super smooth, so it doesn’t make an animal painting look as “life-like.”
Ready to Frame
The paper has deckle edges, instead of a cut edge. This means that the edges are feathered and rough, and give the artwork an “antique” appearance. Deckle edges also eliminate the need to mat (put a border around) the painting, which makes framing the watercolor portraits even easier.
Painting Based On Photo
After placing your order, you will need to e-mail a photo of your dog or cat facing forward with his head straight toward the camera. This way the artist can see all facial features, including both eyes, both ears, front of nose, and any distinct facial markings. Once we receive the photo, please expect the one-of-a-kind watercolor portrait to be completed within 3 to 5 business days.
