These lightweight, personalized dog collars are perfect for every dog occasion from hunting in the field to a leisurely evening walk.

Durable Materials

Each collar is made out of a BioThane strap. The BioThane strap is made of poly coated nylon webbing, which means it is tough, waterproof and stink proof! The strap is built for extreme temperature changes and is guaranteed not to crack in extreme heat or cold.

The Engraved Reflective Personalized Dog collar also boasts non-corrosive hardware. These collars can be worn in the lake or ocean and the hardware will never corrode.

Reflective Collars: Peace of Mind

The reflective strap on these collars makes them perfect for early morning or evening bike rides or walks. They also work great for spotting your dog in the yard or an open field.

Personalized Engraving

If a collar that is safe, waterproof, odor resistant, and has non-corrosive hardware isn't enough, your dog's identification information will also be engraved directly into the reflective strip of the collar. Eliminate the worry of your dog losing her hanging tags and have peace of mind knowing that your phone number and dog's name will stand out on the reflective collar.

Our professional laser engraving staff has worked countless hours to perfect these collars and has given them the precise contrast that will make your dog's contact information easy to read. dogIDs Store asked: Why did you choose this?
Lori S: Taking my baby girl on a trip. Feel a little safer having an id engraved on her collar and a reflective collar to help find her, god forbid she gets lost. May 14, 2013
Ken M: To help tell the dogs apart ... and for the reflective nature while walking at night. May 14, 2013
Ellen S: My dog has a collar from DogID's and it is holding up extremely well. However, she deserves a new one! Thank you for your excellent product!! May 11, 2013
A shopper asked: Is this collar soft and flexible, or more hard and stiff? Dec 2, 2013

Maria C: This is definitely a stiff leather, as far as rolled collars go it is of a high quality and the surface is smooth. I have a small dog, a Brussels griffon, he wears it on occasion for short walks or for the day but usually I have him in his harness. I personally would take it off at night. This is a great collar that will soften with oil over time and you could bend it to super soften it up. Olive oil can be applied but that will change the colour but these collars always change colour when they get wet or dirty. A good collar, just depends on what you want. This is Henry's more fancy collar. I have had larger breed that have had rolled leather collars as their primary collar in the past but with the little guy this is just for show. Again, your call. Emery R: Unfortunately, I can't help much in answering your question. I have purchased the Mendota brown leather collar without the engraved metal plate, and a colored leather with a metal plate grommeted on. The brown leather was initially stiff but softened over time. I have found that the Mendota collars are very good quality and I buy them for my dogs ever few years.

I currently use the Waterproof Soft Grip ScruffTag Personalized collar ( I would highly recommend it. It is very soft and flexible, very durable and easy to clean. Not reflective though.

Good luck!

Clifton S: It's soft and flexible. It will bend easily to fit the size and shape of your dog's neck. The braids make it easy put the belt clasp through. The only stiff part is at the end of the collar itself but that's to prevent it from fraying. Great product! I recommend the smallest slide on ID tag possible if you get one. My dog is a full grown small brewed and this collar fits her perfectly. Dec 3, 2013

John A: I have found the collar to be surprisingly flexible and not rigid. The coating on it does not change the character of the collar, and I personally think it's soft enough that it is comfortable for my dog. I have had it for a year and it looks brand new and my dog does not show any problems of discomfort or rubbing where the collar is. I highly recommend the collar! Dec 3, 2013

Stefanie C: The collar is more stiff than flexible but still very nice. It softens a bit with time but the cord is wrapped tightly and is heavy duty. The collar will last because it's built strong. That strength also makes it a little stiff, not very flexible. Dec 2, 2013

Ellen S: hard and stiff and for my dog;s neck too wide (she is a black lab mix about 46 pounds). But the product is excellent in quality and certainly is very reflective! And I love the fact that while she wore it, she could very easily be identified. Dec 29, 2013

Kathryn T: Its a little stiff when you first put it on but after a day or so its very flexible. We love them. We have 2 labs and these are the only collars they don't scratch at and that dont stink when they get wet. Would say thumbs up. Dec 2, 2013

Melissa M: The collar is definitely soft but it's a little tough to get the clasps through since there aren't any holes already in the collar! We ended up purchasing a different collar from a local store. Dec 2, 2013
Reply to Melissa Good answer? Yes (0) No (0)
Lori S: The collar is stiff. My boston terrier is 25 lbs and I felt the collar was also too wide for her. May be better on a larger dog. Great looking collar, just too big for my smaller dog. Dec 2, 2013
Reply to Lori Good answer? Yes (0) No (0)
Angelo G: the collar has a little bit of rigid enough that it will maintain the the shape of my dog's neck but flexible enough not to hurt her when I try to pull her away from mischief. Dec 5, 2013
Reply to Angelo Good answer? Yes (0) No (0)
Dare K: it becomes softer with time.
the brass collar does seem to cause some obvious discoloration on neck of dogs with lighter fur.

Leigh S: I have had this collar for 10 months. New, they are a little stiff but after being worn, they quickly become soft and flexible. Dec 2, 2013

Catherine G: It's neither soft nor stiff. I think it's the perfect flexibility and I'm sure we'll get more flexible and soft over time. Dec 2, 2013
Reply to Catherine Good answer? Yes (0) No (0)
Ken M: Fairly Flexible. I can twist a 20" collar around 5-6 times lengthwise relatively easily. Dec 2, 2013

Angela A: I bought this collar for my dog. It's more hard and stiff. It's very durable. Dec 6, 2013

A shopper asked: The collars adjust? The current collar I have is 20 inches around my dog....what size should I order? Apr 2, 2015
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Chuck BStaff: The 20 inch neck size collar fits 18-22 inch neck size with the center hole being 20 inches so I would recommend size 20. Chuck B. staff Apr 2, 2015

A shopper asked: 14", IS THAT END TO END OR TO THE FIRST HOLE IN STRAP? Dec 2, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Clint HStaff: From the center of the buckle to the middle adjustment hole in the collar is 14". The collar adjusts up to 16 and down to 12". We use a true collar sizing system so if your dog's neck measurement is 14", a 14" collar is the right choice. Dec 2, 2013

Julie W asked: My dog has an 11" neck. Will the holes on the 14" adjust the collar to fit him? Dec 2, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Shelby Staff: The 14" collar adjusts to fit neck sizes from 12-16". We would not recommend it for small breeds as the hardware would get fairly heavy. Dec 2, 2013

Sara Y asked: Chuck-

Does the measurement of 13 inches include 2 fingers underneath the collar? Also, does this collar show up in the pitch black? Thanks.

Chuck BStaff: It would include the 2 fingers. The reflective stripe would needs some light to be seen. Chuck B. Jun 3, 2013
