Carmen C:We bought our one-year lab/weim mix this tag 6 months ago to replace her old one (that we had gotten from one of those etching machines in a pet store) because it was so pitted and scratched it was unreadable. Her new tag doesn't show any wear yet. She is extremely tough on her tags - she is a very energetic dog - so I am guessing they should stand up to anything. She has gone swimming when were at our lake cabin a few times this year, and the tag doesn't show any sign of rust or corrosion (if that's a concern for you).Jun 9, 2011
Jaime P:I bought two on September 2010. One of them is on my dog all the time (I've got one for spare) and to this date -June 2011, it is still good. Not only that, I had another dog who went to heaven in 2009 and she wore the same type of tag for the last 6 years of her life and the engraving held on quite well. The engraving is still crisp and clear. My dogs are the rough and tumble type and dig holes and tunnels in the yard so the tags take a beating.
