Brianna J asked: I have two labs-what size would you recommend getting? One is 70 pounds and one is a puppy, 15 pounds. Apr 22, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Chuck BStaff: I would recommend measuring the mature lab's neck with a string or sewing tape with two fingers underneath for comfort. If odd sizing then go down for mature dogs, so a 17 inch neck size order 16 inch collar. For the puppy, we usually recommend a puppy collar to start and then invest in a more expensive collar later on. If you want a collar for the puppy to match the the other dog, then measure his neck as well. The strap has 5 holes with the collar size on the center hole. So a 14 inch collar would fit a range of 12 -16 inches. You can also call customer service for more assistance. 800-720-8247 . Chuck B. Staff Apr 23, 2013

Lauren A: There is a sizing chart provided on the website, if you click the link it will provide you with instructions on how to measure your dog's neck and purchase accordingly. I used it for my Beagle and ordered the recommended size, it fits him right in the center hole on the collar. Apr 22, 2013

A shopper asked: Our dogs swim everyday how well do collars hold up in water? Mar 14, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Kelsey P: Midnight has had one of these collars for about eight months. He is a purebred black lab. He loves playing in water as well. Over those eight months the collar hasn't faded and the leather hasn't started to crack. It's a good quality, and a good looking collar. Mar 15, 2013

A shopper asked: I have a Pitbull with a 19" neck, what size collar should I get? Jun 16, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Chuck BStaff: If the dog is mature, we would recommend size 18. The collars have 5 holes in the strap with the center hole, being the size of the collar. So an 18 would be 18 inches on center hole with 2 holes for 19 and 20 inches. Chuck B. Staff Jun 17, 2013

A shopper asked: Is there a way to get the English Bridle Leather collar but with a chrome nameplate instead of the brass? Or is the chrome only an option with the more expensive collars? May 12, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Chuck BStaff: The hardware on this style collar is brass so that is why the matching plate is brass. Our bison collars and signature line of collars have stainless steel options. Chuck B. Staff May 13, 2013

Customer service was very helpful in replacing the first collar as it was not the correct size. The collar looks very nice and it appears to be of good quality.
The leather is a little stiff which may be due to the fact that it is new. If it softens up a bit, I will be happy.
