dogIDs Store asked: Why did you choose this?
Bert R asked:
how do you change the batteries?

D P:
Pull the top plastic casing off to expose the round electrical unit containing the battery (found in a small round sunken pocket in the center of the light). Push the 2 round, flat batteries out of the electrical unit. Replace them with 2 new round, flat batteries and replace the electrical unit in the small round sunken pocket. Replace the top plastic casing. You may need to use a small flat headed screwdriver to pry the plastic casing off the unit. You may also need the screwdriver to pop the electrical unit from its location.

Changing the batteries is a little tricky, they actually slide out along the side, the pieces don't come apart. took me awhile to figure it out!

You have to pull apart the the rubber discs that hold it together. Then slide out the old and slide in the new battery.

Good question. I don't think you can. I love these things but some have lasted long, others have not.
