    ANSWER: it is actually quite lite. I got the small one for our 5 pound Chihuahua and it is only slightly heavier than her dog license or rabies tag. Yet it feels quite durable. She doesn't mind it at all and I am confident that it will not wear thru by Susan E 2/12/2011
    ANSWER: It's not heavy. No heavier than a regular dog tag.
    My only disappointment about the tag is that I felt the engraving could have been deeper, more substantial. Where the back of the tag rubs on the other dog tags, the engraving has worn significantly, but the front side can be clearly read. Still, I wish the engraving were heftier.

    But if this is the only dog tag on your dog's collar, it'll be just fine. It's a very good looking dog tag. Not too heavy. by T J 2/12/2011
    STAFF REPLY: Please send us an email or give us a call and we'll replace the tag you are describing as wearing out quickly. I would also like to know when you ordered it. We just switched over to a new laser engraving technology 2 months ago so the engraving should not be wearing off quickly even if rubbing on other tags.
