Jessie is a Montana native who grew up in the small town of Deer Lodge, Montana. She attended college at the University of Montana where she completed her MBA. Shortly after graduating, her love of travel and a career opportunity sent her to Richmond, Virginia. A few years later and upon her return to her home state, Jessie picked up her old hobby of sewing with her Grandma’s 1950’s Bernina as her first machine. She started sewing again making clothes, blankets, and crafts as presents for her family and friends.
Jessie lives and works in Missoula and was lucky enough to find both her dogs, Bunter, a Boxer cross and Cubby, a Scottie, in local shelters. They oversee and provide inspiration in the production of all Montana Grrl items with exclusive modeling contracts. On many occasions, they assist Jessie in the shipping process by enjoying a ride to the post office with the windows rolled all-the-way-down.
The dogIDs team initially found Montana Grrl through social media. “I connected with dogIDs CEO Clint Howitz on Twitter about their personalized buckle options for my collars. He liked the Montana Grrl collars so much that he put me in touch with their catalog manager. We have been working together ever since to make this a reality,” said Jessica..
dogIDs will be carrying several of Montana Grrl’s hip chevron patterned collars as well as several NFL team fabric collars. Both collars come in a variety of size options so every dog breed and shape can find a collar just for them.
