The Mendota Double Braid Collar with Center Ring is great for any pooch in your life. Made of soft braided polypropylene material, your dog will love wearing it every day of the week. Not only is it soft on your dog's neck, it is also very durable. You can rest assured that this braided collar will last through all types of sticky situations.
Stylish on All Dogs
With six different color options to choose from, you are bound to find just the right look for your dog. The handmade braided polypropylene will be sure to make everyone that sees your pup jealous of how fashionable he is. Even better, the braiding means there are no size holes, so you can push the brass buckle prong through any spot in the weaving, making the collar super adjustable.
I have 9 dogs at my house. Their favorite game to play is tug at your collar. My previous collars get loose, chewed off and then I am on the hunt for a new one. These collars are woven with a sturdy fastener. The center ring keeps the collar in place, and makes it easy to attach a leash. I really like them.
I saw this in a big chain hunting/sporting goods store, this website has it for 15 dollars less. I needed something without a plastic buckle because my dog just breaks through those. This has a metal buckle and looks great against my yellow labs fur!
I love the material, the quality of the craftsmanship and the brass fittings. I also like the rear ring. For some reason I have not yet determined, this collar makes my dog's hair push up around the back. I wish it had regular grommets, instead of none (I will probably install some myself). I find it difficult to push the buckle thing (what IS that called?) thru the collar without splitting strands of material.
Pretty and flexible, probably strong, made in US Within an hour of putting the collar on my dog and her going outside, I saw the first threads coming loose and are still coming loose. Also, if I were going to have my dog out on a leash, I would want to switch to a collar that has grommets as my feeling is that by pulling/putting a lot of pressure on it when it is just through the weave would allow it to come open.
