I like where the nameplate is placed on the collar and it sounds like the collar is well made.

I wanted to give my Cocker Spaniel something nice! He's had a red collar that he's worn for a long time, but once I saw these I knew I had to buy one for him. Plus, he loves to swim and it seems like these collars will hold up a lot better. And his tags won't jingle in the middle of the night either!
Desiree P on Mar 31, 2013
Great Collar, very durable, and the brass nameplate is beautiful. I am very satisfied with this product and the level of quality and service. I go back to for all of my dog walking needs.
Yuriy B on Mar 31, 2013
Needed an inexpensive, durable collar with no jingly tags for growing pup. This one was on sale. Pretty, made of leather, with non-jingly nameplate. Perfect!
Jacqueline R on Mar 29, 2013
I chose this collar because it has the name on the collar itself and thus sibling canines cannot yank the name tag off while playing!
DAWN R on Mar 28, 2013
I like your presentation.
IVAN I on Mar 28, 2013
These collars are such a nice quality and so durable. I buy one for all of my dogs after their puppy phase is through and have had yet to replace one. It's a beautiful classic look for a dog.
Lauren A on Mar 24, 2013
Seems to be a quality product
Chris H on Mar 19, 2013
I was looking for a quality leather collar with name plate that wasn't covered by extra collar length when plate is placed to close to the buckle which I found most to be.

I have two labs-what size would you recommend getting? One is 70 pounds and one is a puppy, 15 pounds.
Brianna J on Apr 22, 2013
BEST ANSWER: I would recommend measuring the mature lab's neck with a string or sewing tape with two fingers underneath for comfort. If odd sizing then go down for mature dogs, so a 17 inch neck size order 16 inch collar. For the puppy, we usually recommend a puppy collar to start and then invest in a more expensive collar later on. If you want a collar for the puppy to match the the other dog, then measure his neck as well. The strap has 5 holes with the collar size on the center hole. So a 14 inch collar would fit a range of 12 -16 inches. You can also call customer service for more assistance. 800-720-8247 . Chuck B. Staff
Our dogs swim everyday how well do collars hold up in water?
A shopper on Mar 14, 2013
BEST ANSWER: Midnight has had one of these collars for about eight months. He is a purebred black lab. He loves playing in water as well. Over those eight months the collar hasn't faded and the leather hasn't started to crack. It's a good quality, and a good looking collar.
I have a Pitbull with a 19" neck, what size collar should I get?
A shopper on Jun 16, 2013
BEST ANSWER: If the dog is mature, we would recommend size 18. The collars have 5 holes in the strap with the center hole, being the size of the collar. So an 18 would be 18 inches on center hole with 2 holes for 19 and 20 inches. Chuck B. Staff
Is there a way to get the English Bridle Leather collar but with a chrome nameplate instead of the brass? Or is the chrome only an option with the more expensive collars?
A shopper on May 12, 2013
BEST ANSWER: The hardware on this style collar is brass so that is why the matching plate is brass. Our bison collars and signature line of collars have stainless steel options. Chuck B. Staff

These collars are beautiful and very sturdy. My dogs look great in them. I like that their name stays at the top of their neck and you don't have the jingle of the traditional dog tag.

The leather, stitching, and name plate are all excellent quality.
Despite the collar sitting at the exact place I measured, it is larger than her neck size. It is buckled one hole past the middle.

Cincinnatus, NY US I love Aussie dogs!
The quality of the leather pleases; the brass sets the leather off, and the name plate makes the whole product both individualized and practical. For who wouldn't want their lost dog to be identified and returned? You've done lovely work!
Because the collar was a smidgeon longer than I needed, I wished it could have been trimmed without cutting the stitching. As it is I've tied the excess down with some heavy linen thread. Perhaps an additional piece of leather for tucking the extra bit in would be beneficial?
