Take a closer look ...

The Tag-it dog ID tag holder is one of our most popular accessories, your dog will love it! It allows you to easily add and remove a dog ID tag to/from your dog's collar, harness or leash. Once you attach the Tag-it to the split ring you will never have to deal with those awkward split rings again! Simply loop the Tag-It dog ID tag holder over your dog's collar and snap using the mini quick release buckle. Simply unlatch the quick release buckle to remove it.

If you change your dog's collar frequently, want to remove "jingly" ID tags for a peaceful night's sleep, or if you compete with your pet, this product is perfect for you! Other great uses include marking cages, holding a spare house key on your leash (or your shoe laces), attaching a blinking light or chemical light stick to your child's backpack for low-light events and more.

M A: I bought this thinking it would work for my Pomeranian puppy, who now ( 2 yrs. later) weighs 10 Lbs. This tag holder was too big for his 1/4 in. wide collar. If you are planning on using this with 1/2 in. collar or a little wider, it should work fine. Hope this helps, MC May 3, 2012

Mary W: They're not too big for a puppy that size. I put them on my 13 lb. mini dachshund "grand-dogs," and they are the perfect size for their little collars and the tags that have my phone number on them. Hope this helps. May 3, 2012

DianeA asked: Will the Tag-It dog ID tag Holder fit a 1.25 inch collar? May 25, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Karen M: Diane A

I use it on a 1" collar and it fit's snug. If the collar is not a real heavy duty leather or nylon you may be able to bend it a bit to make it fit. I hate to state the obvious but someone at dogids with access to both products should try and see. That would save you returning it if it doesn't fit.

FYI Diane, I have found several uses for these little things. I attach one to my purse strap for attaching keys, phone case as well for dog walks. I have a little nylon bag that holds waste bags for a dog walk that fits on it as well. They are made well and I trust the clasp. Good fit.

Vicky B: Hi. A 1" collar is the largest this ID Tag Holder will fit around. Besides holding an ID tag to a collar, I use it to hook my keys to my belt loop when I do not carry my purse with me. May 27, 2013

Susan K: I just measured an unopened one and it doesn't expand to fit that width. However, I clip the holder onto the D ring for my three dogs so that it doesn't rub against their necks. May 28, 2013

melinda m: The ones I bought in 2011 will NOT fit an 1 1/4 collar. They fit up to 3/4" collars. Maybe they have made different ones since then. Good Luck. May 27, 2013

lucie p: Yes it will fit if the collar is not made of a too thick material. The collar will be a little bit squeezed but it will snap.

SUZANNE G: I HAVE NEVER SEEN THESE IN PATTERNS I PURCHASED THESE IN BLACK SO THEY WOULD GO WITH PATTERNED COLLARS.
THEY ARE GREAT AND MAKE IT SO SIMPLE TO CHANGE THE TAGS FROM COLLAR TO COLLAR.

I HAVE BEEN PLEASED WITH MINE AND HAVE GIVEN THESE MANY TIMES AS GIFTS AND EVERY ONE RAVES HOW GREAT THEY ARE.
