About dogIDs

Dog on Side walk

Founded by Dog Lovers

dogIDs was founded in 2005 by Clint and Lori Howitz in the basement of their home with the sole purpose of improving the lives of our precious pooches with top quality products that help keep them "Known and Safely Home". While we have now upgraded and relocated to an office and our team is a bit bigger, our primary goal is still the same: doing what is best for our four legged best friends.

Our mission at dogIDs is and always will be to improve the lives of dogs and the dog-human relationship. We do this by developing top quality, practical, safe, classy products for dogs with durability that stands up to the rigors of the dog life experience. Since we're "crazy dog people" ourselves with decades of pet parenting and dog training experience, we understand the product needs of our customers and only offer products that are best for our dogs as well. We believe our dogs deserve only the best and produce each of our products accordingly. "Only the Best for Your Best Friend" is not just a marketing tagline but rather a strong belief in what we do and intention that guides us at dogIDs.

The inspiration for our hard work comes from family dogs like our spokesdog, River, who is also our product tester as well as greeter and morale booster.
