As the holiday season hits full swing, many consumers choose to shop small. We at dogIDs applaud this decision since we are also a small company.
Here are 5 facts about dogIDs you may not know:
1. dogIDs started in a basement.
Back in 2005, dogIDs saw there was a need for personalized dog products. With an idea and a whole lot of passion, dogIDs got their paws into the world of dog products in our pack leader's basement. Eventually, the company grew and it was time to move out of the basement and into a new location. This past August, our pack had grown large and a new space was needed once again. But this time we went back to our roots.
2. dogIDs is still located in a basement.
Our roots, of course, are located in the basement. This August, dogIDs moved to the basement of the Meadowlark building in Fargo, ND.
3. Our pack is 15 members strong.
With pack members in charge of engraving, photography, eCommerce and more, our pack continues to grow. Along with our human pack members, 5 office dogs help add to the fun of our company.
4. We work with many small shops on our website.
dogIDs works to find only the best for man's best friend. This means finding vendors to work with, who are often small shop businesses or artists. We also choose to specialize in products that are made in the USA.
5. Our products are office dog tested, employee approved.
Each product that comes through our door is tested by the best of the best, our office dogs. Once our pups determine if the product can withstand their shenanigans our employees will decide if the product helps us support our company values.
