QUESTION: are these collars adjustable? by None N 10/8/2011
STAFF ANSWER: Yes. Since there are no adjustment holes in these collars, you just push the buckle prong through the weaved material in the exact spot you want to adjust the collar to. One of the benefits of this collar is they are infinitely adjustable. by Clint H 10/9/2011

QUESTION: Do the colors bleed onto fur when wet We have a yellow lab who is very light and his last collar turned his neck pink! by None N 7/27/2011
ANSWER: Yikes! A pink-necked dog was probably not what you were going for. ;
I don't know how much help I can be on this. Both of the collars we bought were black, and both of the necks we stuck them around were black as well. I will add though, on the many occasions that the collars got wet rain, sprinklers, etc., I never noticed any running of dye on any of the towels or dog beds, my sheets-grrr!. We even washed the collars in the washing machine with the dog towels, and I didn't see any signs of residual dye.
These seem well made, so I would recommend you try it. A note of caution: Because of the weave of the collar, they will stretch a little when they're new. Be sure to keep an eye on it at first so your pup doesn't pop her head right out it.
Best of luck! by S T 7/28/2011
ANSWER: I have purchased two double braid collars and they hold up beautifully. My golden retriever Sam wears one and my Westie granddog wears one. The color holds fast, no shrinkage when wet and everyone wants to know where I purchased the collar. by J O 7/28/2011
STAFF ANSWER: No. These collars are made from polypropylene and are colorfast, meaning they will not bleed color when wet. by Clint H 7/27/2011

QUESTION: Love the concept...is 24" the largest Can a larger size be ordered We generally purchase 26" collars for our 2 Rottis. by None N 3/13/2011
STAFF ANSWER: The braided collars are designed for 24 inch as the maximum. Our leather collars in a 24 inch would give you an additional 1 or 2inches, and one could easily get by with a 25 inch neck measurement. Chuck B. Staff by Chuck B 3/18/2011
QUESTION: My dog's neck is 11 inches and I need help determing the right size. Thanks. by JEnnifer d 2/26/2011
ANSWER: I have the 12" for my tiny dog 8" neck, but it works because the braiding makes it adjustable. If your dog is a puppy, I would get 14" so that you have a little room to grow. You can cut the braiding down and singe seal the ends, if you need to. by Cynthia G 2/26/2011
QUESTION: Are these collars light weight My dog is just 9 lbs and delicate. Thanks. by JEnnifer d 2/26/2011
ANSWER: My chihuhua mix is 6 lbs, and I have this collar for her. I know it's a little bulky, but she wears it well and I am happier with her safety. I can't put tags on her collar because she likes to sleep on the heater vent and they were getting stuck in there. This collar is working out fine. by Cynthia G 2/26/2011
ANSWER: I hate to say the one we got our Charlie 30lb is light in weight, but bulky. You might do better with less 'hardware' - so a plastic buckle. Hope this helps! by Charlie W 2/26/2011
ANSWER: They would be too heavy for a toy dog like yours. 9# is too like for this type of collar. by ROBERT B 2/26/2011
QUESTION: I have a 3 month old lab...what size should I order it\\ by Yanina R 1/28/2011
STAFF ANSWER: Hello Yanina,
It's hard to say what size collar your pup will grow into. If you would like the collar to fit the pup now and have some growing room, I would recommend measuring his neck collar sizing instructions link below and opt for the next biggest size to make sure he can wear it as long as possible.

However, I do not know what you mean by "center ring collars". by L U 1/29/2011

Not sure what you mean about the 'center ring' but I do know that the plate only comes in the brass color, which matches the buckle and ring.
We love our collars. Very soft and infinite fiting options because there are no pre-punched holes.

QUESTION: My puppy plays with the tags on her collar and has gotten them caught in her mouth. If the strap/ buckle of this collar hangs down, the same thing will happen. Does this collar have a snap closure or buckle that will leave part of the strap hanging? by None N 1/16/2011
ANSWER: I had the same problem with my beagle/boxer puppy. This collar is perfect for your pups. It is comfotably, snug fitting. It runs true to size as well. You can adjust the collar to any length which is key for your problem. I am very happy with the product. Good luck! by Alexandra C 1/17/2011
ANSWER: I ordered my collars alittle big so a portion of the collar hangs down after it is buckled. This could easily be fixed by clipping off the excess material. I have ordered 6 collars like these ones and love them! Hope this helps and your little puppy is doing well! by Nikkee P 1/17/2011
QUESTION: Does the tag/collar fall off easily
I want to try them on my cats so want to make sure the collars doesn't fall off when my cats are running/jumping around. by Evan W 11/11/2010
STAFF ANSWER: Hi Evan, The tags are built into the collars so the tags will never fall off of the collar. The tags are sewn in and heat fused to ensure the seams never come loose. by Clint H 12/8/2010
