- I purchased two different types of collars on both my visits:
The personalized, engraved martingale collars are our favorite. I love all the color options you get for thread and collar when designing them. They are light weight, comfy and cute. Also, our rescue dog wasn't able to squeeze her head out on walks. At first she wasn't familiar with walking on a leash, and needed something to gently squeeze her neck when she pulled away, these collars did the trick. She pulled her head out and got loose one time with a regular collar bought at a pet store.
The waterproof scruff-tag collars are also great, we switch into these when headed to the lake. They are hardy, very bright, and easy to clean. The engraved plate is very easy to read and top quality.
We've gotten numerous compliments on both the waterproof scruff-tag and engraved martingale collars.
- I wish there were more feminine color options for the waterproof scruff-tag collar.
The waterproof scruff-tag collar can be quite stiff at first when not being worn, and when first put on. It seems to soften and become more flexible once it's in use from body heat.
The buckle causes the collar to be shaped like an oval instead of a circle which slightly presses in on the sides of the dogs neck.
The material of the collar and the buckle make this collar a bit heavier than you'd expect.
I only have the dogs wear the waterproof scruff-tag collars when they are going to be in water, not for typical every day use.
