eCommerce Manager: Full Time

Seeking a talented and driven individual to join our team. This position would manage a variety of eCommerce areas for dogIDs, including SEO/SEM growth, web development project flow/integrations and strategic partnerships/marketplaces.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Help dogIDs find strategic marketplaces and coordinate the set-up process
  • Work with partners to strengthen SEO and SEM efforts
  • Manage relationships and project timelines with software developers, testers and technical writers
  • Develop and manage key technical relationships to always ensure the best quality products and enhancements
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing staff to ensure continuous improvement within the business development cycle
  • We are looking for a candidate who:

    • Has a “Start-up” mentality (no clock punchers/followers please)
    • Is a superstar at managing projects and teams
    • Possesses strong sales instincts
    • Has a passion for dogs
    • Communicates well with others (written and verbal)

    Catalog Database Manager: Full Time

    Seeking a detail-oriented individual to develop and manage multiple product databases, manage feeds to external online sales channels, continuously analyze product performance data and provide consistent analytics reporting.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Develop and manage multiple product databases
    • Manage data feeds with various external online shopping channels
    • Optimize product listings for SEO and conversions
    • Improve on-site search for customer experience
    • Report analytics on various feeds and seek opportunities for improvement
    • Implement product database related projects within budget guidelines

    We are looking for a candidate who:

    • Has a strong “start-up” mentality – (no clock puncher/followers)
    • Has a passion for dogs
    • Has a minimum of 2 years experience with database management
    • Can provide examples of successes with online and database tools
    • Has strong proficiency and experience with web based tools/systems

    • Studio Photographer: Full Time

      Seeking a talented photographer who is eager to work in a high-paced, eCommerce environment. This individual will be responsible for all product and lifestyle imagery displayed on the dogIDs online catalog, as well as any photo editing needs.

      Job Responsibilities:

      • Take studio photographs of dogIDs products: collars, ID tags, dog products
      • Take lifestyle photographs in studio and outdoors of dogs using dogIDs products
      • Edit all dogIDs product photography using dogIDs’ standard practices
      • Assist graphics director and marketing team with other photography, film and editing needs as requested

      We are looking for a candidate who:

      • Has 2 or more years experience in professional photography
      • Is knowledgeable in studio lighting of people and products
      • Loves dogs and is comfortable working with them
      • Has experience with photography studio equipment and methods
      • Has familiarity with film sets and video production (or has the desire to learn about it)
      • Has the creativity to sell products through pictures
      • Is a team player and gets along well with others
      • Content Marketing Specialist: Full Time

        Seeking a talented writer with the experience, drive and passion needed to ensure the consistent execution of content marketing for dogIDs.

        Job Responsibilities:

        • Write engaging, creative content for marketing email newsletters and coordinate such projects by effectively communicating and collaborating with graphics and product teams
        • Coordinate a content plan of action for all channels: emails, social media, website, blog, etc.
        • Oversee social media strategy and manage multiple social media channels
        • Manage dogIDs WordPress blog, including supervising contract bloggers and monthly article writing
        • Execute on public relations initiatives and activities
        • Develop and champion our branding strategy through content and imagery used in marketing initiatives
        • Work closely with the sales and business development team members on online and offline content marketing strategies

        We are looking for a candidate who:

        • Has a strong “start-up” mentality – (no clock puncher/followers)
        • Has a passion for dogs
        • Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Journalism, Writing, Mass Communications or related discipline (preferred but not required)
        • Has extensive experience in content writing, social media and content strategy
        • Is a grammar guru with knowledge of style and proper content writing techniques
        • Has successfully managed projects necessary for implementing impactful marketing campaigns
        • Isn’t afraid to learn new things
        • Is a team player and gets along well with others
        • Has experience in eCommerce (or has a desire to jump right in)
        • Product Marketing Intern - Summer 2015

          Seeking a talented student who is eager to contribute to our company in various ways. The product marketing intern will assist the catalog manager with various tasks including merchandising product, uploading new product information to our website, writing SEO-Friendly product descriptions for new and existing products and creating social media content.

          Job Specifics

          • 15-20 hours per week between the house of 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Mon-Fri
          • Pay is $10/HR
          • Duration: May 2015 through August 2015 with potential for extenion into Fall Semester 2015
          • Student can choose whether to take it for credit or not. dogIDs will assist with all paperwork needed but cannot cover any tuition costs.

          We are looking for a candidate who:

          • Is currently working towards a degree in marketing, communication, public relations, merchandising, advertising or other related field
          • Has a passion for dogs
          • Has strong writing and editing skills
          • Is self-motivated, adaptable and looking to work in a past-faced, start-up environment
          • Works well with others and enjoys accomplishing goals as a part of a team
          • Is proficient with social media platforms, Microsoft Office Suite and Google Apps
          • Has experience in creating content for social media, publications, etc. (preferred, not required)
          • Has knowleged in SEO Optimiziation or wants to learn more in that area
          • Has experience in eCommerce (or has a desire to jump right in)
