STAFF ANSWER: Yes the barrier expands between the roof and floor and is adjusted with the wing nuts on the bottom posts...So it is kept in place by pressure. Red Plastisol coating is used on the upper contact edges to protect the headliner. by Clint H 2/10/2011
QUESTION: What is the distance between the 2 posts that secure it has the red tips on bottom.-when fully expanded.

STAFF ANSWER: That depends how wide you adjust the mesh panels. The are fastened together by the 6 clips you can see in the product image. Once you fasten the panels together to accommodate your vehichle's width, then the width between the posts can be determined. by Clint H 2/10/2011
