Help Spay/Neuter a Dog or Cat
The best method to reduce the number of stray and homeless cats and dogs around the world is to Help Spay/Neuter a Cat or Dog. Your charitable gift will assist World Vets, a nonprofit organization based in dogIDs hometown of Fargo, that is striving to improve the lives of large populations of animals on a global-scale.
World Vets believes strongly in the One Health concept in which the health of animals, people and the environment are dynamically connected to one another. Therefore, people and the communities in which they live are being positively impacted through World Vets efforts to help animals. The programs span 39 countries on 6 continents, with 4000 volunteers (1100 of which are veterinarians), which aids more than 100,000 animals.
How Your Gift Will Help
World Vets sends teams of volunteers to countries that have requested veterinary aid. Most of these countries are developing nations that are not teaching spay and neutering procedures in veterinary schools. All veterinary care provided by World Vets is free of charge to the community. One team typically spays or neuters between 250 and 300 animals per campaign. Your gift will help purchase supplies to spay or neuter one dog or cat. You can also Help a Puppy or Kitten or Help a Homeless Dog to show your generosity and support for these unaided animals.
Give in Honor of Someone
Giving this charitable gift in honor of someone special in your life is a unique way to show him or her you care while doing something noble for society. Any cat or dog lover would be honored to receive this gift and have an impact on being part of the solution to reduce dog and cat overpopulation. Simply enter the recipients contact information in the options field above and they will receive a notification card of your generous gift. Have special instructions for your gift? Note them in the Order Notes section of the Checkout. World Vets will send a tax receipt to you via email for your donation for tax purposes, as your donation is tax deductible.
