No Pull Universal Dog Harness

The No Pull Universal Dog Harness is perfect for dogs that need to be trained not to pull when walking. When a leash is attached to the front chest strap, your dog will turn in towards the handler when he tries to pull. However, this harness is universal in that it can be converted into a pulling harness as well. By attaching a leash to the back strap, force is evenly distributed over the chest area. Pulling harnesses can be useful for exercising, tracking, sledding and similar activities.

Construction & Materials

This no pull universal dog harness is constructed with high-quality durable and comfortable materials, making it strong and secure for your dog. Durable nylon, a strong quick release buckle, 4 sturdy D-rings (1 on chest strap, 1 on handle, two on back straps) and adjustable chest and girth straps are prominent features of this harness. An easy grip handle and lightweight construction will make this harness easy for you to use as well.

Pairs with Working Dog Harness Patches

If you have a working dog, service dog or therapy dog -- you can denote their status with a pair of Working Dog patches that connect easily to the harness with velcro.

My dog has chewed through 2 of the KONG dog harnesses. Will my dog be able to chew through this? She is a 24.5lb Lab, Golden Retriver, and Terrier mix. Please help me find a harness that she will not chew through.

My dog is a powerful 55lb Australian cattle dog & pittbull mix who loses his mind when he sees a squirrel. Twice he's pulled me over while on walks when he spotted a squirrel and I didn't. Will the "No Pull Universal Harness" allow me to control my dog in these sudden powerful acceleration situations?

BEST ANSWER: If you use the ring attached to the handle on his back.....definitely not. However, if you use the ring attached to his chest, the sudden jerk you normally feel is significantly reduced. I have a 56Ib Shar Pei that cannot let a leaf escape him when it is windy outside. Walks are so miserable for us when it is windy, we just don't go anymore. Using the ring attached to his chest makes all the difference. It is like a brand new dog who listens to my every command while walking. With this harness I can choose where I want to hook his leash, which for me is great. When it isn't windy out he doesn't pull so the handle connection works for us then. I highly recommend this harness for dogs who pull.
where do you measure for gurth ?

BEST ANSWER: Measure around their body right behind their front legs.
I am training a young 20 month Shetland Sheepdog for AKC Canine Good Citizen certification. She is very puppyish and likes to work for treats. While working, training and walking, I believe she would benefit from some harness walking when we load and unload the car. She weighs 30 lbs. We have two problems. I have MS (Multiple Sclerosis) and Arthritis in my hands. My Sheltie, Zora, has a fear of confined spaces especially when crated into and out of our SUV. Which harness would you recommend for easier fast open and close for me? Her chest circumference 22 in
Sheryl M on Dec 26, 2014
BEST ANSWER: A step in harness would probably be the best option for you, easy to put on and just one buckle to clasp.

Good quality and effective design.
My wife and 12-year-old son were both happier walking our 90lb German Shepard puppy (1.5 yo) using the No Pull Harness. It is effective in supporting the 'heal' command.
It's also a well made harness. I did question the buckles at first, they look a bit flimsy. In practice My GSD was able to pull 200 lbs with this harness and the buckles worked great without any detectable damage or wear.
The only questionable item is fit. My dog is 90 lbs on the vets scale. After the simple harness adjustment, it's still a bit big on my dog. If your on the lower end of the size limit I would size down.
That being said, I'm happy with the No Pull Harness, I recommend this item and I would buy it again!
