Guarantee and Return Policy

dogIDS Return Policy

If for some reason you are not satisfied with the product you receive from us, just contact us by emailing service@dogids.com or by calling 800-720-8247. We will supply you with return authorization and instructions how to return the product to us. Many of our products come from separate warehouses, so please contact us before sending any items in your order back. We will then either replace the product at no charge or refund the cost of the product to you. Return shipping costs are your responsibility.

Exceptions to the rule:

• If exchanging a product due to incorrect fit, the product must be returned to us in new condition at your own cost. We will not exchange products due to incorrect fit if they cannot be resold*. Upon exchange, you will be charged for any difference in price, a re-sizing fee for personalized items, and shipping of the new size product.

*Please note that all Personalized Nylon, Embroidered, Paracord or Braided Collars are made to order and cannot be resold, therefore we cannot accept size exchanges for those products.

• Custom dog ID tags, jewelry, and some collars are made to order and in many cases cannot be returned.
• Due to standard health regulations we cannot accommodate returns or exchanges of dog beds.
• For some items, the manufacturer charges a 15% restocking fee for returned items. In those cases, the fee will be taken out of your return credit.

Engraving Guarantee

At dogIDs, we use a high power fiber laser to engrave our tags which actually vaporizes and removes the metal so it is actually engraving instead of marking or laser bonding. This allows us to engrave deeply into the metal with pristine detail and a nice contrasting engrave color...Excellent looks with a true engrave that will NEVER wear off of your dog's tag. Laser engraved dogIDs tags, collars, and leashes are guaranteed for the life of your pet. If the tag becomes unreadable, contact us to get a replacement. If your order arrives with incorrect engraving and we are at fault, we will also replace the item.

Shipping Information

Our primary delivery methods are US Postal Service, FedEx and UPS. Orders will ship based on their estimated production times, which are listed on the product pages. Once your order is shipped, you will receive an email notification from us with your tracking information. You can then go to the USPS, FedEx or UPS order tracking web page to check on the status of your shipment.

Please note that we engrave and ship most ID Tags and nameplates directly from our office. However, some products ordered from dogIDs.com, including custom designer/artisan dog ID tags, embroidered items and other miscellaneous products are shipped directly from the corresponding artist/ manufacturer. If you order engraved dogIDs items as well as other products from our store, you may receive separate shipments - from dogIDs.com and the associated manufacturers.

Oversized items will have a higher shipping fee based on their weight and dimensions. The shipping cost for oversized items is included in the shipping rates chart below.

USA Orders: Standard, Priority and Express shipping options are offered for orders from the United States, Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands. The shipping rates for these locations are listed in the table below.

USA Standard: Orders will be delivered to you within 3-6 business days after the shipment date, depending on the production time, vendor inventories and your location.

USA Priority: Orders will be delivered to you within 2-4 business days after the shipment date, depending on the production time, vendor inventories and your location.

USA Express 1-3: Orders will be delivered to you within 1-3 business days after the shipment date, depending on the production time, vendor inventories and your location.

Shipping to Canada: We welcome orders from our Canadian Customers. Orders will be shipped via US Postal Service, Fed Ex, or UPS depending on the item. Prices reflect the cost of timely and reliable international shipping. Customers are responsible for all taxes and duties that are applied on their purchase.

Standard Shipping to Canada: Orders will be delivered to you within 7-14 business days after the shipment date depending on depending on the production time, vendor inventories and your location. No tracking information is available for this option.

Priority Shipping to Canada: Orders will be delivered to you within 5-10 business days after the shipment date depending on the production time, vendor inventories and your location.

Express Shipping to Canada: Orders will be delivered with 3-5 business days after the shipment date depending on the production time, vendor inventories and your location.
